Head of Autonomous Integration

We’re now entering a pivotal phase: integrating a third-party Level 4 autonomous driving system into Rolling Jenny. To lead this effort, we’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Autonomous Integration.

The Role

As Head of Autonomous Integration, you will lead the technical integration between Rolling Jenny’s vehicle platform and our external AD L4 partner. You’ll work cross-functionally with our software, electrical, and mechanical teams, while collaborating closely with the AD partner to ensure a safe, reliable, and high-performance integration.

This is a key leadership role — central to both the technical success of Rolling Jenny and the company’s broader scale up strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Integration Efforts: Drive the integration of a third-party L4 autonomous system into our software-defined vehicle architecture.
  • Systems Engineering: Define and implement robust interfaces between vehicle control systems, sensors, and the AD stack.
  • Technical Strategy: Set integration requirements, oversee system design, validation, and verification.
  • Partner Collaboration: Act as the primary technical interface to the AD partner and other technology suppliers.
  • Prototype & Testing: Be hands-on during vehicle build and testing phases — working closely with our prototype team on-site in Sweden.
  • Safety & Quality: Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262, SOTIF) and reliability standards.

About You

  • Experience: 7+ years in autonomous driving, ADAS, or vehicle systems integration.
  • Technical Depth: Strong knowledge of SW-defined vehicle architecture, perception, sensor fusion, control systems, and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams in complex integration programs.
  • Hands-on Mindset: Comfortable moving between high-level systems strategy and practical engineering work.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus).
  • Location: Regular presence required in Sweden, where the Rolling Jenny prototype is being built and tested.

Why Join Us

  • Shape the future of freight and autonomy by building a groundbreaking electric truck platform.
  • Take ownership of a critical integration program with global impact.
  • Work alongside an ambitious and experienced founding team.
  • Competitive compensation with possibility for equity participation — become an owner in what you help build.
  • Dynamic, innovation-driven startup culture where your ideas truly matter.

Head of System Architecture

As we expand our engineering organization, we’re looking for a Head of System Architecture to define and lead the technical backbone of Rolling Jenny — spanning software, control systems, and key vehicle domains such as electric propulsion, and energy management.

The Role

As Head of System Architecture, you will own the end-to-end system design of Rolling Jenny. You’ll define how hardware and software come together in a scalable, modular architecture — ensuring that every subsystem (from propulsion and chassis to connectivity) works in harmony.

You’ll play a central role in translating business and functional requirements into a cohesive system design, guiding our software and controls teams, and ensuring that Rolling Jenny remains at the cutting edge of vehicle technology. You will work closely with the Head of Autonomous integration.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect the Vehicle Platform: Define and own the overall system architecture for a software-defined electric vehicle.
  • SW & Controls Integration: Lead the integration of software, control systems, and hardware across propulsion, power management and vehicle dynamics domains.
  • Systems Engineering Leadership: Translate requirements into system specifications, interface definitions, and integration plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with electrical, mechanical, software, and AD integration teams to ensure coherent design and implementation.
  • Scalability & Modularity: Develop an architecture that supports platform scalability, OTA updates, diagnostics, and continuous software evolution.
  • Safety & Standards: Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262), cybersecurity, and relevant automotive standards.
  • Prototype & Validation: Collaborate closely with the prototype team in Sweden, where Rolling Jenny is being built and tested.

About You

  • Experience: 7+ years in automotive systems engineering, vehicle architecture, or embedded software development.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of electric powertrains, control systems, and software-defined vehicle concepts.
  • Systems Thinking: Strong ability to design across domains — hardware, software, communications, and energy systems.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading complex technical programs and guiding multidisciplinary teams.
  • Tools & Processes: Familiar with model-based systems engineering (MBSE), AUTOSAR, and modern vehicle network architectures.
  • Hands-on & Strategic: Comfortable both designing at the system level and engaging in technical problem-solving.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus).
  • Location: Requires regular presence in Sweden, during prototype and integration phases.

Why Join Us

  • Be a cornerstone in building a next-generation electric, software-defined freight platform.
  • Influence the core architecture of a system that will redefine how trucks are designed, built, and operated.
  • Join an ambitious, innovation-driven team working at the intersection of electrification, autonomy, and digital transformation.
  • Competitive compensation with possibility for equity options — be part of the ownership journey.
  • Dynamic, fast-moving startup environment with real engineering impact.
